One of the best ways to make money is to write a book on weight loss, but not the usual eat less and exercise more book. Have a title like “lose weight in your sleep”, or “lose weight while pooping” or “lose weight instantly”. Along the same lines is a 3-hour diet plan. This diet book was an overnight blockbuster- who does not want to lose weight in 3 hours! Sure beats Jenny Craig diet plan which goes on for years and does not even work.
The 3 hour diet plan was devised by Mr. Jorge Cruise (I believe not related to our Eccentric but handsome Tom Cruise). Jorge is not an actor but a fitness journalist and author of a number of diet plans.
So what is the big deal about this diet plan? For one, you can eat chocolates (yes, Cadburys and Hershey bars). The diet plan is all based on portions and timing, not calories. You have to eat your breakfast within one hour after getting out of bed, eat every three hours for the remainder of the day, and must stop eating 3 hours before bedtime (and I thought Tom Cruise had crazy ideas).
Mr. Jorge Cruise says one must be particular about food portion. There is no such thing as bad or good food- just do not supersize everything. All portions should be about 400 calories. But wait a minute, what exactly is a 400 calorie portion? Well for people who are just starting out in a diet plan, this is 2 bowls of cereal, one toast and half a cup of milk or if you want to skip that, eat two cream crackers, slice of bread, tea, some sugar and milk. Jorge says if you eat the right portion at the right time, you will look trim, slim and feel great.
