Eat this, Not that Diet- another weight loss diet! part 2

The diet plan also goes one-step further and rates foods in restaurants based on nutritional content. As expected, pizza hut and KFC get an F.

The diet book also grades a few restaurants based on foods served. Again, KFC, Pizza hut, Dominos Pizza, and fast foods chains are ranked at the bottom of scale.

So what does all this mean?

For individuals who love fast foods, pizza, burgers, French fries, cheese cake, etc- this is not the diet plan for you. All junk foods are given an F rating. For those who are seriously interested in losing weight, then perhaps one should read a few pages of the book online (never rush and buy a diet book- most end up in the trash or as firewood).

The foods that can be eaten include blueberries, black beans, spinach, yogurt, tomatoes, carrots, oats, and walnuts. The book goes go into more details about these foods and their calorie content. The aim of Eat This, Not That diet book is to tell you that pizza is bad; oats and grains are great (how many times have you heard this before!).

Eating healthy is what this diet plan is all about. Sticking to the diet plan will not only help you lose weight but you sure will get to know calorie content of all foods in the world and which restaurants to avoid.

For those people who already healthy, this book is not worth buying or even opening. There is lots of free nutritional advice on cyberspace. For those who are into fast foods, it is very unlikely anyone will get past the first page because the book is dry. Who cares if flaxseed has 2 calories or whole grains contain 10 calories.

There is nothing exciting about the diet plan. By now, every single soul on earth knows that greens are better than meat, sugars are bad, and exercise is good. Why write another book on such mundane, dull, dry stuff that can make one lose their libido as well. What people want to know is how to cut down on calories, not what they can eat, and where they can shop for healthy foods.

There is enough literature on cyberspace about diet and calories, why someone would buy a book with a list of foods and their calorie content is beyond explanation. This book is only good as a gift for someone you want to torture.

We are going though the economic times and spending money on a book that tells you that sugars are bad is simply not on the menu.
