Fat Smash diet- works for Celebs! Part 2

The first part of the diet or phase 1 is a nine day “detox” period which essentially cleanses the body of all toxins and helps you improve your eating habits. One is encouraged to eat small meals and drink lots of fluids. Abstaining from foods is not recommended.

In the 2nd phase, which lasts 3 weeks, one can consume a variety of foods and also drink different beverages

In the 3rd phase, which lasts 4 weeks, one adds more food to the diet plan thus bringing on more variety. In this stage, one can eat Pasta, bread and even a small dessert is allowed.

In phase 4, which is like a life time maintenance phase, one can even drink beer or wine.

After 90 days, the author claims that you develop a better idea of foods you can eat and how you can adjust. Each phase is an improvement and dieters look forward to the next phase because the menu changes and choices of the foods are much more palatable.

The types of food allowed include fruits, vegetables, sea food, rice, whole grains, yogurt, soy protein, egg white, beverages and even alcohol. The foods do vary during each phase but generally tastier foods are slowly added to the diet with time.

An added bonus about the diet is that it encourages plenty of exercise. Besides aerobics, one is encouraged to participate in muscle strengthening exercises. The author does not mention if walking can substitute for strength exercises.
