Capsaicin for neuropathic pain

I have been thinking of using capsaicin for my neuropathic pain. Do you think it will work?

Neuropathy from any cause is difficult to treat. Most of the drugs we have do not work; even when they work the effectiveness is not great. For this reason many people have been turning to supplements and other treatments. Capsaicin has been around for decades and is widely recommend for treatment of neuropathic pain, but does it work?

Absolutely not. In fact, in many studies capsaicin was found to be worse than the sugar pill. It caused more severe skin reactions and worsened the pain. This is one product you should avoid if you have neuropathy. Capsaicin has been around for 50 years but still looking or something it can cure. Just a waste of money.
