Warts on my finger

Is there a good treatment for warts on the fingers?

You are in big kaka (meaning big shit). I am sorry to say there are no good treatments for warts anywhere on the body. Even though many treatments are available, none works well and even when they work, the results are poor at best. What works in one person may not work in another person. The decision you have to make is why do you want treatment?

The reason is that the treatments are relatively expensive and have high failure rates. Plus, the treatments are continued for months before you even see a response. The most important thing to understand is that most warts disappear on their own. Even though salicylic acid gel is often the first treatment recommended, it rarely works. My feeling about this agent is to avoid it-it will only bring disappointment.

There are many other topic agents on the market and most are available with a prescription. Once you decide that you want treatment, see a skin doctor. But before you go, read about the different products and see what you can afford and whether you will be compliant. I generally do not recommend any treatment for warts that do not cause problems.
